This spring begins the 75th anniversary celebration of The Ohio Educational Credit Union. Back in 1933, when OECU started life as the Cleveland Teachers Credit Union, the world was a different place where trust was tough to come by.
As times improved, new opportunities for saving, spending and borrowing, arose. The Cleveland Teachers Credit Union became The Ohio Educational Credit Union to reflect its diversity of members and wider geographic focus.
To keep pace with your current busier-than-ever lifestyle—we offer members a full range of financial services. From savings and checking to IRAs and money market accounts. From loans for vehicles and education to assistance with today’s home loan and home equity markets. From credit and check cards, to quick-cash personal loans, telephone and Internet banking. OECU members have a variety of options, plus access to the expertise that can help them decide the option best for them.
Some join to take advantage of a specific offer, but when presented with the breadth of financial services available, often choose to take advantage of additional financial benefits available to them.
After 75 years of dedicated and knowledgeable service, it’s still about trust
