Checks

OECU provides a wide variety of check styles and designs. Your initial supply of 150 OECU logo checks are provided at no charge. Discounts are available for subsequent orders. And when you need to reorder, it’s made easy by using “Toni” The Touch-Tone Teller or by mailing the reorder form from your existing check supplies to OECU.

Real Everyday Checking is a truncation account, which means you do not receive copies of your paid checks. The monthly account statement provides you with all the details on which checks have been paid that month. If it is necessary for you to get copies of a paid check, contact a membership service representative at any OECU office. Immediate check images are also available by using e-22nd Street.

ATM Card and VISA® Check Card

With your OECU Real Everyday Checking Account, you can apply for an OECU ATM Card or OECU VISA Check Card. These two products provide you with the added convenience of accessing your Real Everyday Checking Account for cash at thousands of ATM locations internationally.

The OECU VISA Check Card also lets you purchase goods and services at stores, restaurants, or anywhere else you can use a VISA® card. Like an ATM card, all your purchases are deducted from your checking account, so you won’t have the bother of getting a check approved or a bill to pay at the end of the month.

Overdraft Protection

Overdraft protection is available through three methods, transfer from a savings, advance from an OECU Quick-Cash Line of Credit Loan, or OECU Member Privilege. A fee is associated with the transfer from a savings and OECU Member Privilege. Refer to OECU's Fee Schedule for details.

Second Checking Account
(Members’ Second Checking)

A second Real Everyday Checking Account is available to all members. This checking account has the same features as the primary checking account discussed earlier. This gives the member the option of opening a second Real Everyday Checking Account under his/her name. This is ideal for members who have a personal business and want to keep their personal business checking separate from their primary checking.
